1 Month Until Spring

Official first day of Spring: March 20.  1 Month. 4 Weeks.
WHERE has the time gone?!

Usually around this time of year, I'm collecting every Victoria Secret magazine that comes in the mail and visiting their website daily... picking out my new 10 swimsuits swimsuit. Well, due to my wonderful baby weight, I now rip those magazines to shreds.  Then after I rip them, I burn them.  Then bury them.

My love/hate relationship with Victoria is only temporarily stuck on the hate.  The love will come back.  I've been working my big ass booty off to lose the baby weight by June (wedding time.. woop woop) and once I can get it off, my love for Victoria and her swimmies will come back full force.

In the mean time I have a little chunky hunk that I cannot wait to share Spring/Summer with!  I can't stop thinking about the new experiences to come.  Swimming in the pool with his cousins (err, floating in the pool. with his overly protective momma attached to his floatie..), going fishing with daddy, and the first time his little toes touch the sand at the beach.  Those little toes touching the same white sand that his parent's used to play in as babies/kids/teenagers/grown ups - literally gets me giddy! I can't wait to see what he thinks about the salty wind, loud seagulls, ocean waves, and the inevitable sand in his mouth.  The beautiful Spring weather can't come soon enough for this momma!

Spring is my FAVORITE time of year to shop for... and since I'm currently ripping up Spring catalogs, I've turned to the next best thing (if not THE best thing): shopping for my little.

He shall be the cutest thing that crawls in Spring (rhyming skills)

See those precious monkey trunks? Yeah.. we already have those...thanks to our dear Hayle...and I can't stand it.  I decided we needed to make sure they fit... so we had a pre-Spring photo sesh in our monkey swimmies.

HURRY warm weather! We can't wait to enjoy you!

  1. He could not be any more adorable!! What a great idea for a post - people always say girl clothes are so cute, but I also LOVE dressing my little man - boy clothes are fun too, they are under-appreciated :) I'm glad you shared this at my link party!
